[NYC 2013] Day 8: NYC (National History Museum, Central Park, 5th Avenue, Top of the Rock)

DAY 8 (2 Nov 2013): NYC
- National History Museum
- Central Park
- Shopping along 5th Avenue
- Rockefeller Center
- Top of the Rock

We had a looong day planned ahead of us. First order of the day was National History Museum - we decided if we had to go to one museum, this one had to be it since it's got almost everything (dinosaurs! giant whales! space!). Would've loved to go to MoMA if we had some extra time, but perhaps that's for another trip now that I know there's going to be an expansion of the WWOHP.

Loved the exhibitions at the National History Museum - apparently there was a special exhibition for dark matters of the universe, but it had an extra fee and we had limited time, so I couldn't really go for it.

Breakfast at Dean and Deluca - our hotel is just a street across

Excuse my face >_> Had lunch at their outdoor boathouse

Found this cafe with outdoor seats while walking down along 5th Avenue (somewhere near MoMA)

Love the outdoor seatings
Didn't manage to watch Wicked :(

Dinner at a sushi restaurant while waiting for our appointed time at Top of the Rock
Sushi in New York is sadly lacking compared to Malaysia or Japan (duh), but I found this to be quite good, as the owners are Japanese

And so ends our 8th day in the US - time flies too fast when you're having fun :(
